NIRIT SEEDS
10 August 2026
The plant belongs to tall greenhouse varieties. The fruits are characterized by large size, meatiness, and good keeping quality. When growing, microclimate control is required, as air humidity above 72% during ripening can provoke the appearance of netting on the skin. Young plants are distinguished by an intensive growth rate, for which reason the use of more mature seedling material is recommended.
The variety possesses genetic resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (Tm: 0, 1, 2), Cladosporium leaf mold (C: A, B, D), and Fusarium wilt (F: 0, 1). The ascorbic acid content in the fruits correlates with the degree of maturity and the position of the fruit on the cluster. The variety has historically been used in commercial vegetable production.
