The fruits of this variety are round in shape, with a diameter of 3 to 5 cm and a weight of 60 to 80 grams. The fruit surface is characterized by slight waviness at the top and a medium-sized depression at the stem end. There are usually 6–7 sepals in a flower.

The fruits form in clusters of 8–10. Historically, the variety was used in commercial vegetable growing. Scientific references to the variety are associated with studies of fungal diseases, in particular Verticillium dahliae, where its vascular tissue was utilized.
