Florida 47 P F1 is a determinate tomato hybrid with a maturation period of 70–80 days after transplanting. The plant forms a strong bush with a robust stem and sufficient leaf mass, which protects the fruits from sunburn. The hybrid is intended for cultivation in the open field and is suitable for both the fresh market and processing.

The fruits have a bright red color, a round or oblate shape, and firm, juicy flesh, which ensures good transportability. The variety possesses resistance to Fusarium oxysporum races 1 and 2, Verticillium wilt race 2, Alternaria solani, and Stemphylium leaf spot, but is susceptible to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV).
