The Flortyl variety is a hybrid registered in the Common Catalogue of Varieties of Vegetable Species of the European Union. It is intended for use in industrial production.

During studies, the variety was examined in the context of phytopathological resistance, including cultivation using rootstocks under greenhouse conditions. Genetically, the hybrid possesses Mi1-2 markers, which provide resistance to nematodes.
