The Frigio variety is a specialized industrial tomato characterized by high yield and good fruit coloration. During cultivation, plants demonstrate a high phytosanitary status, and the fruits themselves possess high resistance to sunscald.
Technological indicators include high pulp density and a significant level of dry matter content, which makes this hybrid suitable for tomato paste production. In literature, the variety is also mentioned under the experimental code ES. 34-04.
When grown in atypical soil and climatic conditions, sensitivity may manifest, expressed as a risk of fruit cracking and rotting.
