The variety is relatively early-maturing, characterized by an indeterminate or semi-determinate growth type with a plant height of 1.2 to 2.5 m. The fruits are oblate, often ribbed in shape, weighing from 300 to 700 g, and have a golden-yellow color with red streaks in the flesh.

The plant requires warmth, therefore cultivation in greenhouses or under cover is preferred. The variety is for table use and is suitable for making sauces. Training the plant into two stems is permitted to increase yield.
