The Giano F1 hybrid forms vigorous plants with good foliage and high fruit-setting ability under elevated temperatures. Fruits have a pyriform shape with a length of 12–14 cm and a diameter of 4–5 cm, possess a bright red color and a dense, fleshy consistency. The produce is characterized by good keeping quality and resistance to overripening.

The plant possesses high tolerance to blossom-end rot. Genetic resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fol:0-1), Verticillium wilt (Vd:0, Va:0), and tomato mosaic virus (ToMV:0-2) is also claimed. The hybrid is suitable for professional and amateur cultivation under various conditions.
