The Gioia F1 tomato is an early-maturing hybrid with a ripening period of 90 to 120 days. The vigorous indeterminate plant is adapted for cultivation in open and protected ground, characterized by high yield and an extended fruiting period, as well as resistance to major crop diseases.
Gioia F1 fruits have a round shape, red color, and an average weight of 120–130 g. They are characterized by high firmness, excellent keeping quality, and a long shelf life. In English-language sources, the name Gioia della mensa refers to a different variety, which is an early-maturing heirloom beefsteak-type tomato with large fruits.
