The hybrid belongs to the Cuor di bue (Oxheart) type. The fruits are red in color. The plant is intended for professional cultivation, including use for tomato puree production and fresh consumption.

This hybrid is used in scientific research as an object for evaluating resistance to root system pathogens, in particular Colletotrichum coccodes. In UPOV documentation, Gotico F1 is used as a reference sample when conducting tests for distinctness, uniformity, and stability.
