The hybrid is mid-season; the period from germination to ripening is 105–110 days. The plant is of the determinate type, reaching a height of 50–60 cm, in some cases up to 100 cm. Leaves are large, green in color.
The fruits have an elongated cylindrical shape, a smooth surface, and a characteristic "nose". The weight of one fruit varies from 80 to 120 g. The flesh is firm and juicy, with a sweetish taste. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, pickling, and whole-fruit canning.
The plant possesses resistance to a complex of diseases, including verticillium wilt. Information regarding the presence of the "Hidalgo" variety in Bayer company catalogs is not confirmed.
