The plant is of a determinate growth type with semi-drooping bipinnate leaves. The flowers are yellow, and the inflorescences can be either simple or complex.

The fruits are large and have an oblate shape when cut longitudinally. Before ripening, a green spot of medium intensity is visible on the fruits at the peduncle, where an abscission zone is present.
