The Kabiria tomato variety belongs to the cocktail type and is characterized by small fruits. The plant possesses growth characteristics, manifest in height and leaf surface area, which differ from a number of other varieties.

The fruits of the variety contain an increased amount of antioxidants, in particular lycopene, and total tocopherol (about 18.5 mg/kg). The content of total soluble solids in the fruits exceeds the indices of many compared varieties by 23%. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and is often used in scientific research on the influence of nutritional conditions on fruit quality.
