The hybrid is used exclusively as a rootstock to create a vigorous root system onto which other varieties are grafted. Its use contributes to increasing the vitality of the grafted plant, increasing fruit mass, and total marketable yield under challenging growing conditions.

The plant possesses a high level of resistance to tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), Fusarium wilt (Fol), Fusarium crown and root rot (For), Verticillium wilt (Va/Vd), and root rot (Pl). It also possesses intermediate resistance to nematodes Ma, Mi, Mj.
