Krebssali refers to indeterminate varieties with unlimited growth. The plant forms medium or long-sized leaves in a horizontal or semi-drooping position and simple inflorescences.
The fruits are small, slightly flattened in shape, have two seed locules and weakly expressed ribs at the stalk. In an immature state, they are colored in light tones with characteristic venation; at biological maturity, the fruits are red.
The variety possesses genetic resistance to root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita), Fusarium wilt (races 0 and 1), and tobacco mosaic virus (strain 0).
