The 'Лотос' tomato variety is a determinate plant 45–50 cm in height, intended for open field cultivation. It belongs to early-maturing varieties and forms pink fruits weighing approximately 100 g.

There are no hybrids named 'Lotus' in the official catalogs of Nunhems Zaden B.V. The name 'Lotus' is also encountered in other crops, for example in Lotus corniculatus, which creates the possibility of error when identifying the variety.
