The Lucius F1 hybrid is used in production research when grown in protected cultivation. Agronomic trials include comparing the efficiency of using rock wool and organic substrates for this variety.

Under experimental conditions, it was recorded that when growing the Lucius F1 tomato on organic substrates, the indicators of leaf gas exchange intensity improve compared to using rock wool.
