Mondalina F1 is a tall, indeterminate-type plant. Morphologically, the variety is characterized by moderate foliage and medium internodes, although in some descriptions they are classified as short.
The hybrid's inflorescences form clusters consisting of 3–4 uniform red fruits. The plant possesses genetic resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, as well as to Fusarium wilt and nematode infestation.
