The variety is a hybrid obtained as a result of crossing a Girona pear-shaped tomato and the Costoluto Genovese variety. The plant is of the indeterminate type, reaching a height of 150–180 cm in open field and over 2 meters in greenhouses. To obtain a yield, mandatory pinching and staking of stems and heavy trusses are required.
The fruits have pronounced ribbing and a dark pink color. The flesh is fleshy, juicy, with a harmonious combination of sweetness and acidity. The fruit skin does not crack during ripening, which ensures good transportability. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption and the preparation of culinary products from tomatoes.
