The variety is a traditional local landrace from the Alicante province. The plant is of the indeterminate type, with a height of 1.1–1.5 m in open field and up to 2 m or more in greenhouses. Requires mandatory staking and suckering.

Fruits are oblate-shaped with characteristic ribbing and red color, often with greenish or yellowish shoulders. The flesh is meaty and juicy. The variety is mid-season or mid-late, exhibiting resistance to heat, drought, and a number of viral diseases.
