This hybrid is used exclusively as a rootstock for grafting tomatoes. It is not intended for cultivation to produce fruit; therefore, characteristics such as plant height, maturity dates, or product quality are not applicable, as they are determined by the properties of the scion.

The rootstock possesses complex resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases affecting the root system. In particular, resistance to Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, Fusarium root rot, bacterial wilt, bacterial spot, tomato mosaic virus, and nematodes is noted.
