The Orama F1 variety is used in the expert practice of UPOV and CPVO as a reference sample when conducting tests for distinctness, uniformity, and stability. In the scientific community, it is used as an object for studying the biochemical composition of fruits, in particular for assessing the concentration of allergenic proteins.

In genetic and breeding research, this variety is mentioned in the context of studying parthenocarpy mechanisms and the possibilities of using wild tomato species, such as Solanum habrochaites, for breeding new hybrids.
