The variety is characterized as very early, suitable for cultivation in cool climatic conditions. The plant growth type varies: some sources describe it as determinate, not requiring pruning, while others describe it as a low-growing plant 0.7–1 m in height.
The fruits are red, medium-sized, predominantly oval or slightly flattened in shape, 2–4-chambered, sometimes with slight ribbing. The flesh is juicy, possesses a distinct sweet-and-sour taste, and breaks down quickly, making the variety suitable for culinary processing.
The variety lacks specific complex disease resistance; in particular, it is susceptible to late blight (Phytophthora) in rainy summer conditions. Due to the age of the variety, there are populations with different growth types, which explains the contradictory data regarding its structure.
