The plant is vigorous, of indeterminate type, reaching a height of 1.5 to 2 meters. The fruits are oblate in shape, often with pronounced ribbing, especially on the lower clusters. Fruit color is bright red; a greenish hue may persist at the stem end upon ripening.
Fruit weight averages 200–300 grams, with individual specimens reaching 400–600 grams. The flesh is dense and meaty, with a small number of seeds. The variety is considered early-maturing to mid-season, with a growing period of 75 to 115 days.
When growing, it is recommended to prune the plant to 1–2 stems with mandatory tying to a support due to the heavy fruit weight. The variety is considered a salad type and is widely used in Italian cuisine.
