The fruits of the variety are red, round or angular in shape, sometimes approaching cubic, with possible green shoulders. The internal structure is characterized by the presence of cavities and the arrangement of seeds around a small central placenta.

The thick walls of the fruit allow it to hold its shape well, which determines the traditional use of the variety for preparing stuffed dishes. Like many traditional varieties of folk selection, it is characterized by high variability of agromorphological traits.
