The variety type includes early-maturing or mid-early plants with a height of 30 to 60 cm. Fruits vary from the cherry type weighing 10–20 g to specimens with a mass of 100–120 g, have a round shape and various colors. Many hybrids of this group possess resistance to Fusarium, Verticillium and Alternaria.

The «Патио Блэк F1» hybrid is a standard determinate plant with a thick stem and dark foliage. Its fruits are small, cherry-type, dark purple or brown. The agrotechnical features of the variety do not require pruning or staking, which allows it to be grown in pots on windowsills and balconies.
