The plant is of the indeterminate type, reaching a height of 1.2–2 meters, and is intended for cultivation in the open field. It requires standard agrotechnical measures, such as staking and pruning.

Fruits weighing 40–100 g have a round shape and are covered with a fine "fuzz" resembling the surface of a peach. The color of the fruits is predominantly pale yellow or yellow-orange, sometimes with a pink blush. The taste is fruity, sweetish, with a slight acidity.

The variety is an heirloom and is known under the synonyms Pêche Jaune, Garden Peach, and Yellow Peach. It is used as a salad variety, as well as in collector and amateur gardening due to its unusual appearance.
