The variety is a determinate plant with a compact growth type. The period from seedling transplanting to harvest is 65–70 days. The fruits have a cuboid shape, firm consistency, uniform color without green shoulders, and possess good keeping quality.

The plant is characterized by drought tolerance and adaptability to open field conditions. The improved version, «Petomech +», is characterized by resistance to tomato leaf curl virus, cucumber mosaic virus, tobacco mosaic virus, and Fusarium wilt. The variety is versatile, suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
