The variety is tall, reaching a height of 1.7–1.8 meters and requires training into 2–3 stems. The ripening period is about 110–120 days. The plant is characterized as hardy, high-yielding, and resistant to drought and diseases. Suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and open field.

The fruits have a flattened, heavily ribbed shape resembling a small pumpkin, and in cross-section, they look similar to a chrysanthemum flower. The flesh is juicy, sweet with a slight tartness and fruity notes. The variety has been known since ancient times and was historically used in breeding work due to its high lycopene content.
