The plant belongs to local varietal forms that require transplant cultivation. Planting of seedlings is carried out in March, and the harvest period occurs in August.

Fruits are large, cubic in shape with four seed chambers and pronounced ribs in the peduncle zone. The color is predominantly red, with occasional pink specimens. The flesh is meaty and sweet; however, the variety is prone to cracking in the peduncle zone.

The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption and possesses good adaptability to cultivation conditions. Historically, the variety is the result of many years of selection by local farmers in the area of the city of Manresa.
