The Revido hybrid, also designated as Revido Tm. C. 5. VF. 2. Fr, was developed for cultivation in protected ground conditions, including film and glass greenhouses. In specialized literature, this variety is classified as a greenhouse type and is mentioned in the context of phytopathological research.

The hybrid's name in historical catalogs is accompanied by resistance codes indicating the presence of resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (Tm), verticillium wilt (V), and fusarium wilt (F).
