The plant is of the determinate type, forming a compact bush about 90 cm high. The fruits have a pear or elongated plum shape, reaching about 8 cm in height and 4–5 cm in diameter. The tomatoes are characterized by a dense meaty structure, a small number of seeds, and good keeping quality.
The variety belongs to paste tomatoes and is intended primarily for the preparation of sauces, pastes, and canning. Compared to the Chico III variety, it is distinguished by more uniform ripening and the ability to set fruit at high temperatures.
The plant has resistance to Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt. Scientific studies also examined its resistance to root-knot nematode infestation, where results varied depending on growing conditions.
