In the seed market, offerings under the name "Siesta" (and "Siesta F1") are found from various agricultural firms and local packagers. Official catalogs of Syngenta do not contain information regarding the existence of a tomato hybrid with such a name.

Online, there are descriptions of the variety as a high-yielding tomato for open field cultivation with orange-colored fruit featuring a "tip," however, these data are not confirmed by official materials from an originator. The name "Siesta" is also used for other vegetable crops, for example, for radish varieties.
