The variety was developed by De Ruiter Seeds and is more often referred to in modern literature as a reference sample when conducting phytopathological research and testing ToMV pathotypes.

This hybrid should not be confused with modern varieties presented on the market under the name "Соната" or "Соната-НК", as they are different plants. Specific agronomic characteristics, such as plant height or yield, are not provided in historical publications.
