The classic open-pollinated Sundrop variety is an indeterminate plant 1.2–1.8 m in height. Its fruits are bright orange, spherical, 4–4.5 cm in diameter, have a fleshy texture, sweet taste, and resistance to cracking. The maturity period is 70–76 days.
The Sundrop KS tomato is an indeterminate greenhouse variety with elongated "plum" type fruits of golden-yellow color. The fruits, weighing about 100 g, are characterized by density, uniformity, and high yield. The Golden Sundrop variety belongs to the cherry type, has a pear-shaped fruit form, which form on long clusters and mature within 65–90 days.
