The best-known Sunrise F1 hybrid from Seminis is an early-maturing determinate plant 60–70 cm tall. The bush is compact; fruits are round or flat-round, red in color, weighing 160–240 g, and possess dense flesh. The hybrid is resistant to Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, Alternaria leaf spot, and gray leaf spot.
Other hybrids with the same name are also encountered, having an indeterminate growth type (height 1.8–2 m). These plants have pink, round fruits with a "nose," weighing 160–200 g. The variety Sunrise Bumble Bee, often mentioned in connection with this name, is not a hybrid but a variety of cocktail tomato with striped fruits.
