The variety is a member of the «True North» series and was obtained by breeder Karen Olivier by crossing the varieties Ludmilla Pink Heart and Captain Lucky. The plant is indeterminate, reaches a height of 1.3–2.0 m, and has large potato-type leaves.

The fruits have a heart-shaped or broad-heart-shaped form and are colored in a combination of burgundy, yellow-green, olive, and pink tones. The fruit flesh is oily. The period from germination to fruiting is 100–105 days.

The plant requires mandatory staking and side-shoot removal due to the formation of large heavy clusters. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into juices and sauces due to its fleshy consistency.
