Toivo F1 is a first-generation hybrid with indeterminate stem growth. The plant is intended for cultivation under protected conditions, particularly in plastic greenhouses.

During agronomic research, this hybrid was recorded to have an average of about 24 leaves per plant. The variety is used in experimental projects to evaluate productivity and fruit quality, including studies involving grafting onto rootstocks.
