This open-pollinated variety originates from the Maremma region in Tuscany. There are discrepancies regarding the plant's growth type: some sources classify it as a determinate bush variety that does not require pruning, while others describe it as a plant up to 150 cm tall, suitable for growing in containers.
The fruits have an oval or slightly flattened round shape and a weight of about 30 grams. Their color varies from bright red to dark pink, and the flesh is characterized by a combination of juiciness and meatiness. Due to the lack of a unified description of the growth type and fruit shape, the variety may have several strains or ecotypes.
