The fruits of this variety are characterized by an elongated shape resembling a miniature torpedo and a pronounced green shoulder in the peduncle area. Visually, the variety is often compared to mini-San Marzano type tomatoes.

The fruits have a rich flavor and can be harvested either as individual specimens or in whole trusses. The variety is historically associated with the Fondi region in Italy, where such types of tomatoes are traditionally grown.
