Variety description

10 August 2026

The Nunhems Tristar F1 hybrid is intended for open field cultivation and industrial processing or fresh market sale. The plant is mid-season, the ripening period is 110–120 days. The fruits have a cube-to-pepper shape and a weight of 90–140 g; they are characterized by firmness suitable for manual and mechanical harvesting. The hybrid possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt.

There are other hybrids with a similar commercial name that differ significantly in characteristics. They are described as indeterminate plants 1.5–1.8 m in height with an earlier maturity period (105–110 days) and fruit weight of 135–150 g (sometimes up to 200 g).
