The Varsity F1 hybrid is mid-season or mid-early with a ripening period of about 75 days. A vigorous determinate plant forms dense, firm fruits of spherical shape weighing 300–350 g, which reduces losses during transportation and storage.

The variety possesses high resistance to Fusarium crown and root rot, Tomato spotted wilt virus, Verticillium wilt and Alternaria stem canker, as well as intermediate resistance to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus. Intended for professional commercial production in open field conditions.
