The plant is of a vigorous and energetic type with good foliage, which provides protection for the fruits. It is characterized as resilient and undemanding to grow. It is intended primarily for open field, although cultivation in greenhouses is permissible.
Fruits have an oval or slightly elongated shape, reaching 12–18 cm, and are distinguished by a glossy, intense-purple color with stripes. The flesh is of high quality, oxidizes slowly when cut, and contains practically no seeds. The calyx is light green, without spines.
The hybrid possesses intermediate resistance to Verticillium wilt (Vd) and good suitability for post-harvest handling. The primary use for the fruits is fresh market sales.
