The variety is classified as a biomass crop, rather than for grain production, and has a corresponding grain-to-straw ratio. The plant is characterized by its tall stature and mid-late maturity.

For cultivation, it is recommended to maintain a seeding rate of 200,000 to 250,000 seeds per hectare. Harvesting is carried out in early October, when the plant reaches the milk-wax or dough stage of grain maturity.
