The variety is intended for the production of whole-plant silage and is considered as a forage crop for cattle in regions with arid climates. Agronomically, it is classified as silage sorghum, rather than grain sorghum.

The plant is characterized by a very early panicle emergence. Silage fermentation quality depends on harvest timing; studies indicate a risk of juice losses and possible fermentation process disruptions manifested in the accumulation of butyric acid.

Under trial conditions, the variety demonstrates resistance to drought and pest pressure, such as the western corn rootworm, outperforming maize in these indicators.
