The grain sorghum hybrid Alba is intended for grain production. In agricultural research, the crop is considered an alternative to maize, capable of producing a yield on less favorable soils and in arid climate conditions.

The variety possesses the adaptability and high productivity characteristic of breeding developments from the NS Seme institute. Specific morphological parameters, such as precise plant height or specific maturity dates, are not detailed in open publications.
