The variety is intended for use as a forage crop. During field trials in temperate climate conditions, the variety demonstrated good results in dry matter yield when harvested for silage.

The plant possesses favorable forage characteristics for dairy cattle. In comparison with other samples, the variety is distinguished by a higher starch content, as well as a reduced level of neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber.
