Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench Sorghum · Agricultural · bred by GARRISON & TOWNSEND INC.

Variety description

10 August 2026

The presence of the BMR genetic trait ensures increased digestibility of plant fiber. The variety is intended for silage harvesting, and to ensure quality and prevent lodging, harvesting must be completed before the heading stage.

The variety's resistance to lodging depends on agronomic practices. Studies show that the risk of plant damage increases with higher rates of nitrogen fertilizer application and increased planting density, which requires monitoring these factors in production practice.
