The variety is a short plant with a vigorous, compact habit, short internodes, and strong stalks. The open or semi-compact panicle is located directly above the flag leaf.

The grain has a brownish-bronze color and a br-genotype, which accounts for the presence of tannins in the coat. The variety is intended for grain production and is used in livestock feed rations.
