EUR5006 is not an independent variety in the generally accepted sense, but acts as a paternal form for the creation of grain sorghum hybrids. An example of the use of this line is the creation of the early-maturing sorghum hybrid called Arkan, where EUR5006 acts as the paternal component.

Since the object is specialized breeding material, data on its independent characteristics, such as yield or morphological traits, are absent from open sources. Information on plant parameters usually refers to hybrids obtained with the participation of this line.
