The hybrid belongs to the early-maturing group. Morphologically, it is distinguished by a short stem and a loose panicle structure, which contributes to faster ripening in arid conditions and reduces the risk of panicle pest infestation.

The plant possesses satisfactory resistance to lodging. Studies confirm the presence of resistance to ergot and the inclusion of the hybrid in trials to study resistance to downy mildew.
